Works good . Really miss not having the side burn trimmer attached

No side burn trimmer attached causes an extra step to use it . I get a good and complete facial hare removal however it is not as close a shave and in eight hours I have a stubble . I do not have the stubble issue when I use a fushion razor . Also I have used Norelco shavers for 40 years and my last one was an artic which gave me a closer shave .
Pros: shaves me well
Cons: no side burn trimmer attached, does not give me a close shave

The Norelco/Phillips with SmartClean system offers a super comfortable shave, very quickly with many cleaning and maintenance options. The ease of use is excellent and the quality of both the shaver, accessories and the cleaning system is of the highest caliber.

the philips 9000 provided the best shaving experience and it different from the rest of the shaver that on the market. You get the cleaness, closest, smoothest shave without irritation or reddness and the smartclean pro system help prolong the life of the shaver head and keep it clean everytime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several electric razors in my time but have always went back to my trusty old single blade safety razor, badger brush, and Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shaving cream,... until I got this! My wife bought me this for my 46th birthday and the first time I used it, I was hooked. I then used it with my shaving cream, WOW! I do not see me going back to my blade razor as this gives me as close, if not CLOSER a shave and it's just plain fun using it. Thank you Norelco.
Pros: ease of use., close shave., easy maintenance., fun and convenient., works great with my sensitive skin.
Cons: i honestly don't have one.

This shaver has been the best I've ever owned. I especially like the ability to swap between a shaver and clipper. Being able to switch between maintaining a clean shave or maintaining a beard is quite helpful and efficient.
My one complaint about the design isn't really with the shaver itself, but with the recharging cord. I really wish that more manufacturers would adopt a universal charging design. We waste so many resources with charging cords unique to individual devices. As we face limited resources and a desire to be more ecologically efficient, we need manufacturers to get on board with universal charging systems.

While on vacation one of the cutters came loose from the assembly. I did not have the tool with me to insert the cutter back into the assembly. Finally, after numerous tries, and after using the razor several times with the cutter not firmly attached, I successfully reattached it to the assembly. This is a horrible design.
I have had older Norelco razors that were much easier to clean and take care of. This product needs to be redesigned!
Pros: reasonably close shave, digitally shows percentage of battery remaining
Cons: cleaning cutters is not easy, reconnecting cutter to assembly nearly impossible

At a little over 70 I've owned several previous Norelco shavers and 1 other brands. This is the only electric shaver that actually shaves as close as a blade. This 9850 is rather expensive, but if I had gone down to the lower model available, I don't think I would have liked it as well.
Pros: digital charge display is great
Cons: no cleaning brush included
