Great razor .... not so great experience with the cleaner unit.

Got this razor in December 2015 for a Christmas present. Great shaver however the cleaning unit quit working the middle of February. Will continue to use the razor and just clean it using sink water in the future. The star ratings just refers to the razor.
Pros: really great shave
Cons: cleaning unit quit after 6 weeks of use

Step up from the old

Purchased this peoduct to replace an older norelco. The shave works great but the Smart Clean system stopped drying after the 2nd use. Will go through the entire wash cycle and then it shuts down when it gets to the dry. Have let it sit for over 12 hours and shaver is still soaked in cleaning fluid.
Pros: close shave
Cons: smart clean doesn't function properly.

this shaver gave me such a close shave. and it was whisper quiet. it was also easy to keep clean with the cleaning system.

Shaving Convinience

I thought this product overall works very well and it is great for convenience, when you can't have a traditional shave. It's very ergonomic, very easy to hold and overall provides a clean shave. I do think it could be a bit more powerful, as it takes a few passes to get a clean shave and I also think the SmartClean system, although it works very well, was a bit confusing as to how to use at first. Still overall, a really amazing product, which would be perfect for people who travel or have a need to shave in virtually any setting.
Pros: easy to use, modern sleek, easy to hold
Cons: could be more powerful, use of the smartclean could be better explained

I was one of the lucky person who got opportunity to test this product and I simply love it.The shaver is all that I could have wanted. It gets the job done and holds a charge for a long time, sometimes longer than the advertised. As far as functionality goes, there is nothing that I can complain about.This have and ergonomic shape and metal sheets that endures many uses. I think cleaning system could be improved.
Pros: easy to clean, ergonomic shape, close shave, no irriation

This is by far the best electric shaver I've used. I've had three previous Norelco shavers and this one is the best. I have sensitive skin, particularly on my neck, and I've been shaving without any redness or irritation. Although it was expensive, I feel that the price was worth it as this shaver is a major improvement over previous models.
Pros: shaves close without irritation, easy to clean, easy to recharge

The best shaver ever!

I use Philips shaver from a long time ago (since I decided to switch from a manual to electric one).
I used this shaver for about 2 months and I really like it. I get very clean shaving in very short time. I use a preshaving lotion but I found that I can use this shaver without preshaving lotion with the same results.
