Modern Shaver, Different Experience

I received the Philips Shaver to review and I really like it. The design of the shaver is unique and modern and It works great. It is a very fast shaver and it gives me the closest smoothest shave that I have ever experienced and also the charge of battery lasts for a long time. I can move fairly quickly over my face within different angles . It has a very convenient-automatic cleaning system that I can clean it just in seconds. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality electric shaver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phillips gave me the opportunity to try the Phillips Shaver and my first impression taking it out of the box was how light this shaver was in comparison to my previous shaver. The shaver works very well on 1-2 day growth but needed to use the trimming attachment for 3+ days of growth, which adds time.I really liked the cleaning feature of this shaver - it is a really good advancement though the size of the base unit is large. My biggest dislike of the shaver is the need to change the heads - personally I like a pop put trimmer attachment on a shaver. Battery life is perfect and the shaver lets you know (based on the user manual) when it needs to be cleaned or needs some tlc.
Pros: easy to use, light weight, great for daily use, self monotoring
Cons: need to change shaver heads

Excellent shaver with clean cutter heads

Hair accumulates in cutter/shaving heads. Washing does not remove hair unless the retainer rings are removed, cutter heads pulled out of cutter guards and all of the pieces are brushed and washed. Between shaves very little hair accumulates in the hair chamber so shaving performance diminishes after 3 shaves as cutter heads become fully impacted with hair requiring head assembly & cutters to be fully removed and individually cleaned.

Noisy

Razor isn't even two years old and now makes a high pitch squealing sounds. Still cuts OK, but it is too noisy. Certainly the loudest razor I have owned. Also, when using the smartclean, the machine doesn't dry out the razor blades. After the cleaning, have to take the blade holder off to let it air dry. It cuts pretty good, so that is the only reason I gave it an extra star.

Best shave ever

I have used every type of shaving technique because I get razor bumps. I have tried foil electric shavers, rotary electric shavers, single edge blades, double edge blades, three blade razors, five blade razors, straight razors, and shaving powders. I like the whole experience of the straight razor. But this shaver gives me the best overall experience, close, smooth shave, convenient cleaning, and no irritation. I tried both the wet and the dry shave with this product. Both gave me a great smooth shave but I prefer the dry shave with a product for electric shavers because it is faster and more convenient for me. I use it on my head and face. I usually would not shave every day. Now, I do.
The issue others have raised about accidentally turning off the shaver is not really a problem for me because I just readjust how I hold the shaver and I have no problems at all.
Pros: comfortable shave, good battery life, great cleaning system, blades really follow the contours of your face
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Shaver, Pointless Washer Base

Really love the shaver. It replaced my old Arcitec with cleaner base.
Well, I used the new shaver for about a week, setting it to clean after every shave...well, it did not clean out the hair from the heads. It did not sound right as I shaved and opened up the head and saw it was caked with clippings.
Needless to say, I have to manually clean the heads as the cleaner base is useless...
I cannot recommend this product.

Fair shaving. but a little complicated. Trimmer should have been part of the razor.
Having to remove shaving heads to clean razor is inconvenient as well as taking off
