I have shaved with Norelco shavers for about twenty years and this the best yet. The shave is close and very quick. The cleaner is quick, 4 hours I was not planning on shaving anyways. Hand feel is comfortable and changing shave head to trimmer could not be easier.

My experience with Norelco rotary shavers goes back to your first model purchased by my Grandfather -This is my second Norelco/Phillips rotary shaver. I owned a 1280x and actually just bought a 1280X for my son. I like the detachable trimmer and I like the new floating head design. Best electric shave I have ever experienced. I use AnneMarie Borlind Mens shaving cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Norelco/Phillips with SmartClean system offers a super comfortable shave, very quickly with many cleaning and maintenance options. The ease of use is excellent and the quality of both the shaver, accessories and the cleaning system is of the highest caliber.

Before using this product I was like am torturing my face skin for a clean shave, and use to slide the razor in all directions for a better shave, and used to have irritation and dry skin sensession thru our the day, but after I have started using the Philips 9700 series it's like I was really missing something, for so many years, but now it takes about few minutes and I get the same clean shave without even torturing my face skin, and in single moves I get the best of the shave, and top most the skin feels like refreshed, and bye to old irritations and dry skin, really a very good product

This razor gives a close shave. It glides over my face smoothly with ease. The first electric razor I owned was from the Norelco family. I have used other top brand electric razors but none measure up to this one. This is without a doubt the best razor I have ever used. It deserves 5 stars for appearance, design, ease of use, battery life and the option to wet shave. I recommend this product without reservations. I am a very critical purchaser of any product I buy. This razor passed every test I put it through. You will like this product.

Quite satisfied with this electric shaver. Does as good a job or better than my old Braun. Glides much easier over my face. Still have trouble getting stubs right under my nose. But all in all I consider this a very good electric shaver. Haven't tried it wet. I wish you had a product to put on before shaving. Such as Williams lectric shave. To stand up the beard. But maybe that's not recommended. Anyhow you made quite an improvement over the old norelco.
