If you're used to a non-rotary shaver, it will probably take a couple of weeks to develop the technique for a close shave, but it soon becomes second nature. The position of the power switch at the front center makes it too easy to turn off accidentally while you're shaving, and the auto-clean system has spotty reliability: I often find my razor wet the next day (indicating that it did not finish the dry cycle), and sometimes I hear the cleaning system cycling in the middle of the afternoon, indicating that it started on its own.
Pros: separate trimmer head works very well
Cons: special tool needed to remove cutters

No longer a simple shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shave settings no longer get the close shave I use to, too close and chaps my skin and a mid setting has my shadow growing back before 3pm. Cleaning unit, add cost and now I have to replace the solution that is only half used in order for the cleaning unit to come on. So I purchased a cheaper Norelco and sort of happy with that unit. Low cost to keep it clean and running.
Cons: not for traveling over a long period, overall cost for up keep

The cleaning mechanism that is supposed to last 10 minutes never shuts off, sometimes the dryer does not come on. The promo to buy a set of 3 cleaning solutions is no good has been out of stock for two months. I would buy the cheaper version, which would also take up less counter space.
Pros: very close shave

In Noreco shavers this is the best one I have had. My only fault I have found is the replacement head I bought does not shave as close as the original head. I really like the new cleaning system it is better than the last 2 I had. It is also nice being able to use this shaver in the shower.

Cons: replacement head not as good as originak!

I have shaved with Norelco shavers for about twenty years and this the best yet. The shave is close and very quick. The cleaner is quick, 4 hours I was not planning on shaving anyways. Hand feel is comfortable and changing shave head to trimmer could not be easier.
Pros: good battery life
