I don't like having to change heads for trimmer vs shaver. It is taking me longer to get a close shave than with my old Norelco. It is not as bulky and is easier to clean. Easier to pack and recharge
Pros: easy to clean
Cons: a pain to change heads

The 9300 is a remarkable and necessary tool for a great shave. The new swivel head lives up to the promise of following the contours of your face. The cleaning system is essential to keeping the heads in great shape. Excellent performance wet and dry. I love taking it in the shower for a shave.

I have use Philips shavers for many years. I have had this one for about a month. The shaver itself is the best ever. I like the closeness and comfort I get with it. The only thing I don't like is the cleaner. And the only thing I don't like about that is that it seems to restart itself after the cleaning cycle completes. This wasteful of energy and cleaning fluid and it also makes a fair amount of noise. My wife complained that the sound of the machine cleaning my razor kept her awake. I had to move it to another room so it would not bother her.

This shaver is just average, for the price. The smart clean system is a nuisance. Whenever you move it, liquid spills out. When traveling, transporting it may also be an issue.
My shaves are ok, but I still feel the previous Norelco Nivia for men shaver was better.

I have owned Norelco razors since my first electric razor experience in1972. This is my first wet/dry model and love using it in the rain! Kidding aside, Norelco is right about this model has a closer shave. Only a straight blade from a barber could be closer.
Cons: i tend to turn off the razor because of my hold.

The Norelco 9300 has performed well every morning since Santa placed it under our tree. It provides a comfortable, nick-free and close shave. I have no regrets leaving my old razor in the drawer. Get one if you want to enjoy shaving again.

Cons: pricey, replacement rotary head is really expensive

I am in my seventy's and I've used an electric shaver all my life. I've never had a shaver that worked this well. I've only had it a few weeks but every time I shave with it, I'm amazed. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny.
