Great replacement for my 2013 moto x

I bought the moto G5 + at Christmas time to replace my moto x 2013. I am very pleased with the improvements in this phone vs my old one. The camera is a big improvement and also the battery life. Great value

Great phone, great value

I'm very pleased with the performance and build quality of the Moto g5 Plus. It looks and acts like phones that cost 2 or 3 times more. The battery life is terrific - commonly still at 65% after being off the charger for a typical 12 hour workday (several phone calls, web browsing and moderate app usage). Android is a very clean version, no junk extra apps - only the one Moto app that provides nice gesture-action features (double twist to launch camera for example). OS updates have been timely as well. Call quality is great at ear piece or speakerphone. Camera performance is good and meets my needs, which are basic. Bluetooth pairing works reliably. Fingerprint sensor works reliably. One odd phenomenon is I have notice some audio glitches over Bluetooth if I adjust the volume while the phone is in my pocket, which I would attribute to being caused by static electricity caused by the phone rubbing against fabric. Have not encountered this if adjusting volume while the phone is held freely in my hand. Basically, I'm very satisfied all around. About the only 2 nice to have features that it lacks are wireless charging and NFC for payments - but my old phone didn't have those features either so I don't miss them.

Amazing battery life

My husband bought this for me for Christmas, I am an avid Motorola user even pre smart phone. I love watching videos and movies, they are so clear and flawless. The battery is good for nearly 2 complete days, even with surfing, watching movies, listening to music, etc. For the price, I am very much enjoying this phone. The only concern I may have is updates for the operating system, how many will this phone be getting?

I got the phone and thought it was a ok budget phone but its better than I thought it would be it's fast long battery life so far it gets the job done.

Best android phone i have ever had

I have been on the Samsung Galaxy for the past 6 years and I had enough of their shenanigans. I researched heavily on a mid priced quality pure android phone and settled on this G5S plus and i have loved every min of it. It is quick and smooth with everything and the battery is amazing. i had to boot up my old Samsung S7 to wipe it to sell and i was instantly shown how much better this Moto was in every way. I have been spreading the good word to everyone about these Motos

Dang good phone

After using this phone for about 6 months I purchased a Google Pixel. That was a mistake. After 3 months with Pixel returned to Moto G5 plus. More features, features that work.

This phone has been exactly as advertised. No complaints here. In a world of diminishing returns for exaggerated costs, this phone does everything I need it to with little to no aggravation.
