Excellent Phone for a fraction of an I phone

About a month ago, I purchased this phone, and I couldn't be more happy. It was an unlocked model, which I bought for a purpose, for when I go to Democratic Republic of Congo, I hope to insert a vodafone key, so I can use if with the local numbers I have stored but can't use here in the United States. This is an attractive feature for those of you who travel outside the United States. I also purchased the phone with 64gb, and have had no trouble with enough space for the apps that are most important for me. That would include some banking, and financial following of the markets.By the way, this phone has a powerful battery, sometime I can go 2 days without charging, and then with the turbo charger, bring it back up to full force in 60 mins or just a tad more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent phone for the money

I have owned all the operating systems, the most recent being from a windows phone. I have always had good luck with Motorola and investigated them first and decided on a moto g5 plus after looking at all the available phones, including flagships. I absolutely love it. The phone doesn't have all the bloatware, its very quick for my uses and the storage is amazing. I again have apps to use which is awesome. The battery lasts forever and the turbo charges very quickly. All in all this is hands down the best phone for the money. It outclases many phones costing considerably more. The knocks on the phone are the so-so camera, which I agree with and the lack of a usb-c. The camera could be better but the usb-c I couldn't care less. It means I don't have to buy all new cables. I would not hesitate to make the same purchase.

Great phone at a good price

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago upgrading from a moto g3. I liked the moto g3, but it was getting sluggish. Rather than reset the g3 I bought the g5s plus. The 4G or RAM and 64G of memory along with the faster processor has made performance snappy again. The phone looks good and I hate to put a case on it, but the metal back is a bit slippery so I'm going to protect my purchase.

Great features and an awesome price

I got this phone about a week ago, and I love it
I lovethe expandable storage. I love apps and taking photos so the 64GB if internal storage is wonderful and the ability to expand with an SD card is great. I like the mods that Motorola puts on like the wrist flick thing to open the camera I don't miss a moment. The screen is Crystal clear but a bit large for one handed operation. The design is beautiful and on par with a flagship phone. The camera has all the features you need and no gimmicky modes like my samung did. Performance is great I haven't had any lag opening apps or switching between tasks. I like that the phone is usable on all American carriers and doesn't contain carrier bloatware Overall great phone.

It is a good size, but not happy about some featur

The speaker sound is muffled. The camera shutter is in a poor location. My old phone you could touch the screen anywhere and take the picture. The location on this is at the bottom of the screen and is not good for quick pics. I use my phone a lot and the battery needs to be charged daily. Thought the 3 day battery life would mean for using it. My review makes it sound terrible and it's not. It's still a good phone. I just think it needs to be tweaked a little to make it even better.

Great replacement for a Galaxy S7

I bought this a month ago and am very happy. The large screen is great. Fast performance and the MOTO experience is great. I previously owned Samsung phones and thought they had the best phone experience but am now sold on MOTO. Seemingly small things like the "one button navigation" are really great -
super convenient and also result in giving you more screen real estate. Battery life is excellent. Camera is average but plenty good for my use. Excellent value.

Bought 4 of the phones to replace our older model Samsung phones. We all have enjoyed faster response times and better performance. Some reviews did not like the speaker. I think it works just fine.
