Bought two of these a couple months ago to replace earlier version of Moto G phones. Took some getting used to but now we love them. Great value for a budget priced smart phone.

This phone is fantastic. I've had it for over a year now. In fact, I have largely replaced my computer with it, and do my homework on it! The battery isn't what it was, but that goes for all phones. I use my phone all the time and the battery is still great. The only problem after all this time is that the camera is wonky, but I knew that when I bought it. It's like the opposite of a fisheye lens... But I would recommend this phone to anyone!

doesn't come with 8.0 Oreo!!!!!!!!

It states 8.0 Oreo but came with 7.0!!!!!!! Moto no longer will send the G5 plus updates - you are buying a cell with software from 2017. It is May 2019. Back in the box it is going.

Nice, sleek, fast phone

I bought this phone last year and I used the heck out of it till I dropped a hole saw bit on it, no case or screen protector can save that, I then got the g6 as it had just came out, but I liked the phone so much I purchased a replacement screen and youtubed how to fix and then used it for my other line which it is still hooked up on and if the video I watched on YouTube is right it's still faster than my g6 and it got upgraded to 8.1 from 7, my g6 is still rocking 8.0, in my opinion hands down a way better phone than the gym.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Phone

Never liked this phone because it doesn't allow for the Aps to be changed from Internal Memory to Memory Card. After the most recent update, the phone will not allow me to close one screen at a time. I'm done with Motorola's... Junk phones..

No call recording

The phone doesn't have basic features like call recording and I can't even see the blocked call logs. It should be added in the next update. Also the phone doesn't have themes and all we need to see in the light mode. There should be a dark mode.

Not good

Camera lag. Slow phone. Bluetooth issues. Can't adjust touch sensitivity. pics are not great quality. Overall is not a quality phone.
