love my Moto g5+ ,great value, performance,design

Did I mention that I love my Moto g5+...so happy . Love the light metal body.... Sleek slim design..great cameras... Moto actions RULE!...shakingthe top for flashlight, twist 2 times for camera...Soooooo freaking awesome.. very minor complaints..location of power button..I accidently restart my phone at least 3 times a week...also. Loved my super quick charging USB plug....until I plugged it in and that metal plugs that go in the outlet. Broke. off along with some plastic...but otherwise 9.999/10

Just what I needed

First, I am not a "I got to have the best phone on the planet" kinda guy. I had a Droid Maxx that served me well. At this price point, this really is a mega phone. It does everything I want it to and then some. While the camera is good and has more features than my previous model, I don't think it takes as good of pictures as my last phone did. But nevertheless, it does take striking snapshots. Ordering directly from Motorola was easy and I also like the fact you don't get all of those unneeded apps that you get when you buy directly from your carrier. Saved space already because you can't remove those unwanted apps from your carriers phone. Very clear and bright screen. This phone is not too big but has a nice size screen. I don't want to feel like I'm carrying a 2 x4 around in my pocket. Thinner than my previous model as well which makes carrying more comfortable. The use of fingerprint has taken a little getting use to as this is my first phone with this option
but now I love it and feel more secure. This phone does a lot more that is simply too much to type. But, if looking for a low cost phone, this is definitely the best bang for the buck. Enjoy!!

I basically like the phone, but signal strength is horrible. A lot of my calls go to voicemail as a result. Now it's obviously not the towers in my area as my wife's Motorola G5 plus gets great signal strength compared to my G5s plus. Even the WiFi signal strength is not that great. Very disappointed since I've had a good experience with Motorola phones in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive Phone at an Affordable Price

I've had the G5s Plus for a few months now, and it has performed just as well as, if not better than, far more expensive phones that I've owned. The photo quality is exceptional, perhaps the best I've used to date, especially with its depth-of-field features that rival the best phones from other companies. The "pro" photo features are top notch and allow a lot of customization. The battery lasts all day and then some, and the TurboPower feature lets me give it a quick boost when I need to.
The only qualms I have with this device are the single multi-use fingerprint reader and nav button (I have trouble getting the swipe motion right and the reader frequently complains that my "Finger moved too fast" [that's what she said!]), and its transition between wi-fi and mobile data isn't as seamless as other devices I've used. Finding cases or shells for this phone is also difficult. That said, and with the fact that it is unlocked and works on both CDMA and GSM networks, this is a phone I plan to use for a long time.

Really love this phone. Very smooth when scrolling and fast! Camera is pretty good, i'm not a huge picture person, i mainly got this phone for games, which run very smooth and load fast. fingerprint lock/unlock makes it easy to secure the phone and open it back up. really love the blush pink color also, very girly like me. battery life is awesome, i play games all day and text and snap chat and the battery keeps up with it
