Check features carefully

Good phone - BUT the android screen mirroring feature is crippled. It only will work with chomecast - if you have a Roku - forget it. My older android screen mirrored just fine. If this is important to you skip this phone
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dissappointing overall

This is my second moto g. I loved its predecessor. Not a fan of this one.

Love it but it doesn't work with Vetrizon

I really like this phone so I gave up Verizon carrier because it didn't work. I had to change to AT&T
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone actually performs well with a good camera but you better hold on to it tight! The metal body is very slick. I have had Android's since the beginning and have only broken a couple of screens. Today it slid off of my console in my truck and the screen is in about 4 pieces

I understand how you feel about what happened to your phone. The phone has a Corning gorilla glass 3 screen which offers scratch resistance. All kind of glasses are fragile and can be broken when dropped. You can send your device for repair to have it repaired. G5s Plus... I want my G2 ext back

Intuitive phone with great layout... But doesn't matter when performance is sub-par.
Bought this when it launched last October and noticed issues within a month.
~Apps, Apps crashing everywhere...
~Camera will crash when you need it most, like video recording your athletes during competition, multiple times in a span of 10 minutes.
~Maps app will crash multiple times when doing a route. Doesn't really help when you require turn by turn notifications for your job.
~The update to the phone around New Year's really messed up things. Every few weeks randomly, when I need the phone, it has a fit and shuts down and reboots itself 3-4-5-8 times. Completely random, sometimes 15 minutes before I can even use the phone again.
~Phone calls are sometimes crackly and hard to hear people, with full 4g on both ends.
~Only gave this 2 stars because last week the phone launched off the top of my car down the road at 40mph and still works after shattering screen(silver lining~I finally will have a phone that isn't a moto G5s)

Moto G2 was the perfect phone, and ran better at the end of its 3 year life than this phone did after one month...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For all the touting of the camera its my least fav

This phone has a nice battery life and a lot of options in its unlocked version for use on number of networks. The one thing i mark it down in the most is the camera. Washed out, subpar pics are common. Indoor lighting is bad for me. My other moto x pure is much better. My wifes g6 is similar indoor but more options with wide angle.
The update schedule is also weak on this phone. Left in the dust after purchase.

This phone has not impressed me. First, it is brand new but I cannot change the Wallpaper because the App keeps closing.

This phone sucks while gamming.

I bought this phone for its average camera and for playing games. But gaming in this phone is worse. Games like pubg, mobile legend, modern combact often force close the app in serious moment. So i recommend people not to buy this mobile for gaming. But it have special feature like moto action and average camera.
