Had for a few months now. I don't do reviews right away -- like to live with them a bit first.
I can't think of much the phone won't do except I can't figure out how to override pics anti zoom like my old Samsung, but this phone is SO much better in every other way! The battery life is phenomenal, the screen is very crisp and the camera takes some surprisingly good pictures. I don't just recommend it -- I HIGHLY recommend it. I'm a picky person, but not much to pick at here especially considering the price!

Really nice

This phone works well and is nice to use with an overall great feel. Long battery life good display and a good overall size. It doesn't have a notification light, or NFC, which are really the only possible downsides for some people I'm finding, but given the quality of phone your getting for the cost it's well worth it and i would even say holds its own against the top tier phones. Assuming this phone will last a while for me without any major issues it's definitely five stars and I would recommend it for anyone that needs a good phone and is on a budget

Bluetooth

Bought this phone (Moto G5S Plus) about one month ago to replace my Moto G3. Moto G3 kept blacking out after dialing a number or receiving a call. Very annoying. Also, Bluetooth kept dropping out. I really like the Moto phone so I bought the Moto G5S Plus hoping I would not have anymore problems. Well, the blacking out part has been taken care of but the Bluetooth still keeps blacking out. After searching the problem on line, there are a lot of other people out there with the same problem. It is evident to me that Motorola must have a software problem. If you are reliant on bluetooth, then don't buy a Motorola. Otherwise, this is a great phone for the money.

Loving It

I had a different phone with similar features but I was having to charge the phone once or sometimes twice a day - and I was not overusing it. The Moto G 5 is much more efficient with battery life. I never worry that it will run down without my knowing it. Also I love the screen interface, the ease of learning how it works. I am absolutely delighted. I have not found one single thing not to like about my Moto 5.

Been using phone for 4 weeks and it is lightning fast. I had a Moto G2 for the last 4 years and it has been a reliable and dependable. I worked overseas for the last 8 years and it worked in Africa, Europe, Asia and US. I will stick with the Motorola.

Good Phone Few Things Could Have Ben Done Better

The Moto G5 Plus is a decent device. It feels good in one's hand. The 5.2 inch screen is bright and fits well in my hand--I'm glad it isn't any bigger. Calls sound good and fingerprint scanner is sensitive. There isn't any stuttering that I've noticed. Battery life is amazing as well. I can get about a day and a half of use. For most people, this phone can do exactly what they want and need a phone to do. Which is great considering the price of the device. This phone also still has a headphone jack, which I really like. Having a microSD slot for expandable storage is also great, something not enough phones on the market have any more. It's also very hard to bet Moto's almost pure Android--thanks Moto for not junking up a good thing. Also having universally unlocked phones you don't have to buy from a carrier, well it's just another thing Moto does better than anyone else. Now what I think should be improved on (why it's only a four star review). SIM tray is very hard to open, at least it was for me. I miss USB-C charging. I also prefer my fingerprint scanner to be on the back of the device. Camera could be a little better, but frankly it's good enough. Moto keep up the good work! Offering universally unlocked phones at a great price for the masses is what you do best.

Worked for 14 days, thats it

The phone literally worked for 14 days and turned off and never powered on. Tried all the options of hard reset through forums and Motorola instructions, nothing worked. Whats the use of all features if you cant use the phone for more than 14 days!!! Apparently this problem is known for 2-3 years since first generation and the company still didn't care much to fix it.
