I bought this a month ago, and I am happy that I did! The camera is very good and it is a great phone for the price! The phone can get everyday tasks done easily. The phone is really good!

Great phone at a great price

I bought a G5 plus for my daughter and a G5s plus for my wife. The quality has been great. Its functional, pretty responsive, gets the latest updates and works as advertised. The screen is nice and bright and call quality is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WiFi keeps dropping.

Phone was ok for about 7 months. Great for the price. Then the wifi wouldn't stay connected. Tried everything short of complete restore. WiFi keeps dropping.

Was good at the first couple months

Was happy about buying this good price and good quality phone, but soon, the camera keeps showing error, restart camera, have to try several times to get the camera ready, somehow is really disappointed.Was going to get one more for my husband, but guess won't be this one.

Lenovo is great at holding back updates. You'll never see a new OS update for about 2 years. The camera looks like it would be great, but has software issues. Best budget phone you can find, but will leave you hanging just like Lenovo. I want to love this phone, it just requires more love from its maker.

I know you are waiting for the update to be released. Software can't be released until it's fully tested. And we test to make sure there are no significant errors. So if there are serious errors, the timing would have to move so that they can be addressed. Plus, there may be delays from partners or carriers that also need to conduct tests, and we don't have control over that.

Nice phone no unwanted apps

I really like this phone a lot. For what would be considered a budget phone it's build quality is very nice, has no unwanted added apps to take up storage, and is very quick and smooth. Although when I purchased the phone it was it was out about a year already I prefer it over the G6 options available because of the metal body, screen size, and the faster processor.
The two nicks that I that I have to give is that the chop action doesn't work for me. The action worked when I first got the phone but now doesn't after getting all the updates. I'm hoping a future update fixes this but it's really not a big deal to me if it doesn't. The second nick I think is bigger and that's the phone hasn't gotten the 8.0 version of the operating system. From what I can tell from internet search it's supposed to get updated to version 8 and the phones been out a year or more it's still not updated and version 9.0 is coming out now.
