Installed in May2019 - New Construction with all Frigidaire kitchen appliances. Stated tripping the Dedicated circuit about 20 days ago. I had issues with dishwasher as well. Planning to replace each appliance one by one with non Frigidaire ones.

Do not buy this microwave will only last 3 years if that and cost you money thinking you need an electrician.

COMPLETE TRASH!!
on November 6, 2022

Less than a year the handle is peeling and truly unsightly!! And of course you can’t just buy the handle. As it sits across from my Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator with the broken ice maker that I’ve had repaired 3x… yeah Frigidaire is trash. Can’t wait to remodel and go with a new brand 👍🏾 thanks for wasting hard working money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blowing the dedicated fuse and from reviews below I am not the first one. It was installed by the builder about two and half years ago. Side note: the beeping when something is done is constant.

MICROWAVE BLOWN
on January 13, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our fuse blew recently and we replaced it. Here we are 3 weeks later and the mircorwave blew. He won't do anything. It is only 3 1/2 years old. Now what do we do?
Response from frigidaire.comBy Christy, Online Outreach Specialist, January 16, 2023
The microwave is overloading the electrical circuit. In other words, the circuit is rated to handle a certain amount of amps (units of electrical current), and the microwave is exceeding that amount, causing the breaker to trip.
There are two possible causes: • The microwave is malfunctioning and pulling too much electrical current • You have too many electrical appliances, including the microwave, plugged into the same circuit.
First, you should make sure the microwave has a dedicated circuit. Microwaves pull about 12 amps and need their own dedicated 20-amp circuit. That means they shouldn’t be sharing the circuit with any other appliances. If the microwave currently shares a circuit with other appliances and runs at the same time as those appliances, it’ll quickly overload the circuit and trip the breaker.
If we can be of assistance in any way, please connect with our Live Chat team on our website or through our Customer Support line at 1-800-374-4432 (M-F, 8:30 AM-8 PM EST). ~ Christy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does everything the expensive ones do for the most part short of being a smart microwave. The only, for lack of better words, disappointing thing is the fan is not the quietest. Makes popcorn perfectly!
I would recommend this to a friend!
