Gone too soon

My microwave oven will not work properly. I placed my plate in the microwave to warm up my food, selected 1 minute, then the microwave went completely out. Went to the garage flipped the switch, returned to the kitchen, the microwave time panel is flashing. That's a good sign, right? It's fixed, whew! Selected 1 minute again, and I'll be darn the thing goes out again. Back to the garage to the breaker box, flipped the switch, went back into the kitchen the time is flashing. Oh yay! Let's go, I selected 2 minutes this time, again nothing. Okay. Something is wrong here...What's wrong with my microwave? Unplugged the microwave, plugged it into an extension cord and tried the garage socket. Okay, lets see if this will work. Back to the kitchen I go, the time is flashing, I selected 1 minute and dang it again. Okay, something is really wrong. I used the part finder and am now wondering if it is my control panel or control board. The YouTube videos really don't answer the question, just how to replace either or. Help....control panel or board?

We are sorry to learn you are having issues with the microwave. The unit should be on its own dedicated circuit and not plugged into a GFI outlet. We don’t recommend using an extension cord. We would love to see if there are any resolution options to resolve this matter, be on the lookout for an email from us shortly.

I like that it will beep a few times so you don’t forget that your food is in the microwave after it’s done heating up. No problems with it so far!
