Beyond Disappointed! ffmv1645ts

My 2 yr old Frigidaire - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-The-Range Microwave ffmv1645ts ( New build- Builder installed) has started to trip my breaker. The more research I have done, the more I see this is a common problem. The electrician advised this is definitely a microwave issue. Frigidaire I couldn't be more disapponited that I have to replace/repaire a two yr old microwave.

Tripping the breaker- 0 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came here to see if this is a common problem. It seems it is. This is the microwave that came with my new house. Here I am 2 1/2 years later and as soon as I push start it trips the breaker. Poorly made! Very disappointed! I would give 0 stars but it won't let me. Cheap parts make cheap products!

Buyer Beware!

The builder installed in my house as well as others in my subdivision. Other people in my neighborhood have also stated theirs died right at 3 years as well. Stay away

Don't Buy

We have only had our microwave for less than 4 years and it completely died. It shut off and we had to reset it more times than I can count and then one day it just never came back on. We hired people to replace parts but it doesn't work. It blows the fuses immediately.

Very Unhappy! Trips breaker box constantly!

Had this house built 3 years ago and the builder installed Frigidaire appliances in all the homes in our subdivision. A month ago, the lower spray arm of my Frigidaire dishwasher fell off on the heating element and melted. Had to get that repaired. A few weeks later this microwave started tripping the breaker box constantly. As of today, it will no longer operate. It’s out of warranty according to Customer Service so I was considering getting a new version of this one until I read all these reviews of blown fuses and tripped breaker boxes. Almost everyone had their issue after 3 years like me. I do not want to cause more issues with the electrical of my home because of faulty microwaves so I suppose I must go with another brand. Hate it came down to this. Hope this helps anyone who’s having similar issues.

Electrical issues #BuyerBeware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is 4 years old, worked well up until 1 month ago when it began tripping breaker when door was opened after heating cycle was run. Had electrician check outlet and sub panel, determined it was microwave. Service tech sent out 3 times and attempted to fix by replacing capacitor, magnet, and lastly door release switches. Device would work for maybe 24 hours then blow interior fuse of device. To make matters worse, cannot find a replacement that is 1.6 cubic feet so bolt pattern on top matches with my cabinet, as a larger cubic size unit, even it outer width and depth are same as existing, the bolts are placed too far forward on cabinet for safe install.
Reading a few other reviews that describe similar electrical issues suggest this model is a lemon. #BuyerBeware

Microwave stopped working

The microwave stopped working after 3 years. It cause the breaker to go off. We will turn in back on and go off as soon as you hit the start button.
