[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave replaced our 4 year old original Frigidaire microwave when we purchased our home. This newer model preforms better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great microwave but it went dead after only three years. I investigated the issue and found multiple people had their microwaves die after only three years. I ended up buying a replacement because it is a nice microwave. Lasting only three years does seem like an issue, though.

Useless unreliable

We are on our second Frigidaire microwave first installed in new house lasted two years then start button started tripping circuit and then quit all together. Replaced with a gallery version and have had now two years with same issue. Have not replaced yet. May just replace all Frigidaire appliances with another brand. The dishwasher also leaks in spite of replacing seal. Only 4 years old. Researching other brands.

Do not buy

House just turned a year old... microwave turntable and fan stopped working.
Going find another brand, I'm sure it will be less expensive to replace the 1 year old unit.
Customer service over automated. Still haven't had my returned call back.

Avoid this microwave

I’ve had this Frigidaire microwave along with matching dishwasher, gas stove, double oven, and refrigerator for 2 years. Completely regret going with Frigidaire for all of our appliances. The microwave handle chrome/plastic laminate is peeling/chipping at the seams and is extremely sharp. My wife and I have both cut ourselves multiple times because of this defect. The chrome finish on the face of the microwave is also pitting and rusting even with us only using the Frigidaire recommended chrome cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It beeps forever when it’s done. And then if you don’t get it out, it starts beeping again

Annoying
on April 28, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave all in all is good. It serves it purpose and heats up items well. The one thing that is absolutely the most aggravating about this machine is the alarm when and item is done. It is way to loud, way to repetitive, and doesn’t give you enough time between beeps to get to the door before it beeps again. Now I understand the need for a alarm letting you know the food or whatever is done. But consistently and at this decibel? It’s not like if I don’t open the door right away the food will explode, go bad, disappear, or burn my house down. Even the oven from the same line doesn’t make as much noise as this. I wish there was a way to alter it because seriously it sounds trivial but I am tempted to just buy a different machine due to this. The appliance is less than 4 months old and it would be the first thing I would address.

Junk

Only 3 1/2 yrs old trips breaker. Checked on reviews, and tells me the same. JUNK
Response from frigidaire.comBy Ciara, Online Outreach Specialist , May 2, 2022
Bertiebrn, we apologize for any matters you have experienced with your microwave and thank you for bringing it to our attention.
One of the most common reasons for a breaker to trip is an overloaded circuit, which means that a greater electricity demand is being placed on the circuit than it can deliver.
Also, your breaker can trip if your microwave is not on a dedicated circuit and plugged into a GFI outlet, which can cause a 'nuisance trip'. So that this doesn’t happen, your microwave must be connected to a dedicated supply circuit with the proper voltage and frequency.
In the event the information provided doesn’t resolve your concerns, please connect with us via Live Chat, and our experts will be happy to assist.
Best Regards, Ciara
