Electrical issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this oven for about 2.5 years and now it's having electrical issues. It seems to work fine but opening or closing the door creates some sort of short that pops the breaker....so it is unusable now. 2.5 years is a VERY short time for a microwave and being an otr oven makes it a hassle to change or even take to repair. I was thinking of buying the same model to make the installation easier.... but there are so many reviews with the exact same issue that I don't know any more.

Unit is less than 2 years old and continually trips bkr. Very disappointed with this microwave. This is a common problem with this model, but they keep selling them. I won't replace it with a frigidaire.

Bad microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had it two years and it die. I replaced the fuse and it die after 3-4 days. Why would design a poorly made unit. Still brand new and now I have to throw away. Because if I replaced the fuse it’s going to die again. I need a new microwave now. I’m so mad. And it is xmas….send me a new microwave. I have the stove and microwave the same brand

Keeps tripping dedicated 20A breaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had builder installed 1645TS unit since moving in January 2018. Has recently begun tripping dedicated 20A breaker every time door is opened now. Also trips other dedicated 20A breakers when plugged in there, so problem isolated to this microwave.
Sad that it didn’t even last 5 years. From what I read, I’m lucky it lasted that long.

Worst microwave ever

Kept blowing fuses and tripping the breaker. Finally stopped working after a couple of years and many fuses. Stay away from this microwave. I will not buy another Frigidaire produce.

tripping breaker

We bought this two years ago and love the look. Worked great until now when every time we use it, it trips the breaker. Over-the-range microwaves are expensive to install and I hate that we have to replace this. After looking at all the other reviews, it is a problem with this microwave. So many people are experiencing the same problem. It's sad when a reputable company makes such a bad product. I would not recommend this if you have to replace every few years.
