Quality product fir great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new stove quickly after my old one gave up on us. I thought it would be easy to choose one, but was surprised at all the bells and whistles available on today's models. This one was perfect. It does the job and has the basic extras I wanted, like a timer. I went with this one because many models have burners that extend to the very edge of the top of the stove, but this one doesn't go quite that far. That's very important to me because I have little ones who sometimes reach their hands up there. I also was happy to find that it locks (again.. Little ones) although I do wish I could have found a model that locks while cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall good but it never looks cleaned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this appliance with our new home from the builder. I overall like this product but cleaning cook top is difficult. I do use cook top cleaner but still it never looks clean.
Also, once I used Self-clean feature of the oven but within few minuted I smell something burning and I turned it off and never used again.

Roaditi, I know how frustrating getting used to a new appliance can be. Clean the range top with a non-abrasive plastic scrubbing pad and mild abrasive cleanser. Do not allow food spills with a high sugar or acid content (milk, tomatoes, sauerkraut, fruit juices or pie filling) to remain on the burner grates or burner caps. These spills may cause a dull spot even after cleaning. Clean these spills as soon as surfaces are cool. Thoroughly dry immediately following cleaning (pages 35 and 36 in your Owner’s Manual have detailed cleaning instructions). A cooktop cleaning crème is for use with flat ceramic cooktop surfaces. A self-cleaning oven cleans itself with temperatures well above normal cooking temperatures. This high temperature eliminate soils completely or reduces them to a fine powdered ash you can wipe away with a damp cloth when the cycle is finished. While the oven is in operation, the oven heats to temperature much higher than those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are normal. Burning odors are also normal because the food soil is being removed. Smoke may appear through the oven vent (page 29 in your Owner’s Manual).
