Why would you put a round burner in a griddle area??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, the stove is OK. It was installed by our builder, so I didn't get to pick it out, otherwise I would have gone with something else.
I can't for the life of me understand why they put a round burner in the griddle/grill area in the middle of the stove. Every other stove I have seen has a long burner so you get more even heat distribution when using a rectangular griddle.

Works great so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this range. Especially like that there are only 3 combined grates versus individual ones. Also like the burners as compared to my previous stove. Should be easier to clean. The only thing I miss is that the bake time doesn’t count down. So if I’m timing side dishes to be done at the same time, I have to use a separate timer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven works well. The only thing I do not like are the grates for the top of the oven. They are too bulky and appear too big. Do not fit snugly inside the burner area.
