It's Gas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new GAS stove and the fact that its a FRIGIDAIRE make makes it perfect. I especially like that the grates make an even surface. At first I thought they might be too big but now have found it easier to clean the whole stove top.

Good Range, Great Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our Frigidaire Range! Part of a great appliance package, it was an economical choice that turned out to be a great performer! The burners are all pretty even, and have good control to allow for simmer to fast boil. They work well with a variety of pots and pans, and the grates are high quality and sit flat on the stove.
The one thing we wish we could change is the griddle burner in the middle, which is a small circular burner. Since it’s a longer space, it might be a better option to have an elongated burner to fit a griddle and heat it more evenly.
The piezo pilot lighting system works, but is a little finicky, and has a learning curve. You need to turn past the pilot indicator, so as to turn on the gas to high, then turn back to the pilot light so it can ignite the gas, then turn back to the desired gas output. It’s possible that the knobs are slightly miscalibrated or just off by a little on where the labels were applied.
The oven portion is gas, not electric. I know it’s a preference on the heat, but I love the gas oven! It heats up quickly and the temperature is accurate. Like a gas burner, the gas output will regulate the temperature, instead of just cycling the heating element to maintain it. This leads to a more even bake. And if you’re building, you don’t need both a larger circuit and a gas line run to the kitchen, which can save cost!
Overall, we are so happy with this appliance, and would consider Frigidaire for all subsequent appliances we buy!

Very responsive and incredibly hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is easy to clean and the burners have a lot of airflow for a very hot burn. I'm amazed that I'm often cooking on low and the larger burner I only use for very large pans as it is even hotter. The oven seems larger than normal and comes to temp very quickly.
