Only just got this gas stove so here goes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old stove was over 20 years old maybe 25 so I was really used to that stove. There are features about the new one that I’m not in love with for one thing I don’t know why you put the light switch on the very top of the stove. I think it takes away from the sleekness of the top and also I think it should be where the knobs for the jets are that was where my old stove had the light switch. I’m not a fan of the oven racks my old stoves rack seemed much weightier, and they also had a feature where when you pulled them out, they seem to have a stopping point I feel like the racks slide out almost too easily. Then there’s the burner piece where the flame comes out. On my old stove those pieces were removable so I could easily put them in my dishwasher for cleaning. I guess this is the new way of doing things, but these new burners are attached and now to clean them you have to stand by the stove with a toothbrush and scrub them. So much easier to throw pieces in a dishwasher And I am all about easy cleaning. The stove did come damaged but the store I purchased it from was able to get me a replacement within a week which was good. All in all it seems to be working fine so far and maybe I’m just a little picky, but I thought I’d point these things out and time will tell how well this appliance will work out. It looks nice and I did get compliments on it.

The glass in the oven door shattered by itself after 3 years. I don't recommend use of this oven.

Unlike regular glass, tempered glass may break when exposed to continuous stress. Unfortunately, microcracks resulting from stress are not always noticeable — until the glass is no longer able to cope and shatters into tiny pieces. Any impact on your oven glass can contribute to these micro-cracks. Resting pots on the glass, closing the door without the racks fully pushed in, slamming the door, or bumping into it are just a few possibilities that could cause micro-cracks over the years. This is not a manufacturing defect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry I got the stove with 5th burner. Serves no purpose and there is no place in the center for a spoon rest or to put down a dish. Also the grates are very heavy. The lower drawer isn't large enough to store a large frying pan.
