Frigidaire gas stove

My new gas stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new stove and I chose mine because it had continuos heavy duty grates, 5 burners, sealed in stovetop, broiler in the oven so that there is a storage drawer. I even was able to take off the oven door by myself which would have been a deal breaker if I couldn't. I like how fast the burners light up when ignition takes place. I am still learning how to place food under the broiler to get the right effect, but it works. The only rub that I have is that the racks are made weaker than what I am used to. I cook with heavy cast iron and steel roasting pots and pans and I worry that racks are not strong enough.

Good but one burner always has difficulty turning on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottom right burner constantly takes 5 to 7 tries to turn on and when it does, it creates a huge flame because of the attempts. The others turn on immediately.

Love this range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Frigidaire 5 burner gas range! Best investment ever! This range replaces the Frigidaire glass top electric range that came with the home I purchased. While it was an excellent range, I prefer cooking with gas as it is far more efficient and effective in my opinion for cooking. Very happy with my purchase and it compliments all my other Frigidaire kitchen appliances.

Strong odor of natural gas (methane)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed in the quality of the stove and oven. When I use the oven, there is an odor of natural gas. I have had a repair person check it out; it still smells of gas every time I use it.
