Best Range We've Ever Had

I was reluctant to switch from an electric to a gas range, but could no longer use the new electric ranges with glass tops because we frequently cook with cast iron. At 62, I was fearful of making the switch and providing only burnt offerings for meals. This range changed all that. It cooks wonderfully, providing everything I've always wanted in a range. The center range burner is a feature I am wondering how I've done without over the years. It is so user friendly, I never even referred to the manual! Highly recommend - the quality can not be beat.

Love my new gas range

Don't Like the Burner Grates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stove. Don't like the grates. They look rusted and worn after little use. I replaced with new ones and they lo9k old and worn after little use also. With the first set I thought it was because of the scrubbing to clean them. With the new ones they look the same without any scrubbing. It seems like they should have some kind of finish or protection on them to keep the grates looking nice. The stove is real shiny and it is a distraction to see these dull, old, rusty looking grates.

Thanks for reaching out with your concerns. It looks like your grates may be dulling or discoloring with use. This can be normal for cast iron after it has been used for a bit and come in contact with cooking debris. This may occur due to oil residue, uneven seasoning, or sustained contact with substances with a high sugar or acid content. We recommend cleaning the grates regularly with mild abrasive cleaner and ensuring they are completely dry before returning them to the stove. Further cleaning recommendations are listed on page 34 of he Owner's Manual. We're happy to hear you are otherwise loving your new range! We hope these recommendations are helpful.
