Fine Unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of this model. It is not overly loaded with superfluous hi tech settings which can sometimes get in the way of the business of plain old good cooking. This model affords reasonable flexibility for the creativity of the chef.
The oven heats evenly and keeps temperature, and the burners on the stovetop handle everything from copper to stainless to cast iron just perfectly. There is great latitude of btu output between those burners and each has its own good use. The stovetop grates are heavy and solid, and the overall appearance of the entire unit I find quite appealing.
If there is one downside, it is that the oven racks are not as heavy gauge and supportive of baking/roasting dishes as compared with those made a few decades ago. It would seem however that most non-commercial grade units have unfortunately now gone this route.
Overall, I could not be happier. A little over two years ago I purchased this model for a friend, and having spent many hours with it, I upgraded with one for my own kitchen. There many choices on the market and as one who spends a great deal of time in the kitchen I like this one!
