My new gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just moved to a new place a month ago and started using my new gas range, I always wanted to switch from electric to gas range. Frigidaire seems to be a nice choice. Working good so far as cook top and oven.

Great oven at a reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old oven broke on Thanksgiving morning. Fortunately, a neighbor allowed us to use his kitchen that day, but we needed a new oven fast. We needed a stove with grates that gave us a flat surface, knobs on the front and uncomplicated buttons on the back and the broiler feature in the oven. We found this range that met all our needs and had a sleek black and stainless look.
It works great! We hadnt't realized just how o bad our old oven had gotten until we started cooking on this one. The burners are easy to adjust , the oven heat rings true and the auto turn-off feature is very much appreciated.

I like the 5 burners and grates that cover the whole top.The oven is just the right size for baking my sourdough bread.I can fit both of my challenger bread pan in it at the same time.

I should have gotten a gas range sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to switch to a gas stove from the electric stove I used for more than 17 years. I loved the smooth surface of the stove, storage drawer and self-cleaning function. This gas stove everything I loved about the old stove and more. Food cooks faster and you can see how much heat you are using easily. Heat spreads evenly. (The old one heated on the right side of the element circle more than left )

OK with two exceptions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven and stove work fine. When the oven is on, a lot of heat escapes through the top. I don't remember feeling this much heat escaping with previous ovens. I also keep seeing a white powdery residue on the burners. I don't know what's causing that. Other than that, it's fine. The oven heats up quickly. No major complaints.
