A Nice Step Up for Us - Concerned About Gas Knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we're very happy with this range. It's been a noticable difference for us from our old stove. The only thing we're concerned about is the ease with which the gas knobs turn to "on" for the stove top. They don't lock into the off position and there have already been two times when we've smelled gas only to discover that one of us has bumped into the stove and inadvertantly dialed one of the knobs to the "on" position. It surprised us how some innocent activity near the stove could turn into a real problem. You'll never know that you've put one of the burners into the "on" position because it rotates to the position before the lighting mechanism kicks in. It's a terrific stove, but that really IS a safety concern.

My one daughter said " it was the best gift I have ever given her." Being single and retired my adult family use the stove more than I do but I have had so many positive comments I am glad that I replaced it with gas.
