GE Cafe induction range with double ovens

I really like the induction range, it’s very fast to heat up and we like it much better than our gas range. I love the safety features of the induction.
We have had an issue with the top oven, it will start preheating and after a few minutes it turns off, not getting up to set temperature. I called GE help line, they suggested to turn off circuit breaker and try again. We did that but it still happens randomly. This had happened several times.

Great Oven

Having two different ovens in one range is a big help. I was worried about losing the drawer for storage but it turns out I use the small oven more than the big one so I store even more things in the big oven. Both bake evenly and the stovetop brings water to boil amazing fast making cooking pasta much quicker. Its been almost a year since my purchase, I highly recommend.

Love induction cooking

This product brings cooking to a new level and well worth the extra cost. Induction cooking is much quicker and efficient. The double oven makes things easy and allows for several items at different Temperatures to be cooked simultaneously.

Unexpectedly wonderful

I am an avid cook & left a gas cooktop, double electric wall oven kitchen for an all electric condo. Having grown up with electric, I was dreading the “downgrade”. Did some research & decided to go with induction. I still wanted a double oven. This beauty has been SO much more than I ever could have wished for! I did need to upgrade my cookware. My cast iron pieces still work but need so much less heat. The ovens are even heating & the larger lower oven has a convection feature. I find my kitchen isn’t as hot with the induction top. I particularly like that the flat stove top can be used as an additional surface when not in use. All in all, I don’t miss my gas cooktop. It has a Wifi feature to preheat or shut off the oven. It was more expensive than a regular electric slide in unit but I am convinced it was well worth the upgrade,

TOP OVEN DOOR MISALIGNED

The range has performed as expected to date, and for that I would give it a 5* rating.
What has been a concern is the top open door, left side is not aligned. It has been like this since the range was purchased, right out of the box. The right side is not affected.

Wonderful versatility

I love my new GE Range. The double ovens and induction cook top are fabulous. I would give 5 stars if I hadn't already (installed October 2019) received error codes and a repairman visit...something with the cooling fan...sigh. Other than that I'm very pleased with my new GE Range with 2 ovens.

While expensive, it is fast to heat. It is efficient and has several nice features like an app to control it remotely, probe cooking, synchronized burners, etc.

Loved it until both ovens stopped working

I had this range oven for 2 years, and loved everything about it. after 2 years just died while baking bread. Induction cooktop still works, but both ovens shot itself down during preheating at ~225F. I have read 10s of similar feedbacks, and it seems to be related to faulty board, Will try to fix it.
