stove top stopped working within weeks

Just a week or two after having it installed in our new kitchen the stove top just stopped working completely. Oven still works but the cooling fan runs for many hours after oven is used. This is an expensive range and I couldn't be more disappointed in it. Wow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the dual oven GE Cafe induction range 4 months ago and so far I have to say I’m happy with its overall performance. I’ve used both ovens but tend to use the top smaller oven the most. It’s easy to clean but both the oven and elements are a bit noisy. Big biggest overall complaint would be the rubber seal on the top of the range between the glass and stainless steel controls. As you clean the stove the rubber seal has pushed in by the glass it looks very unsightly. Very poor engineering design here. That said, I’m still happy overall with the range. I just wish they would come up with a better design to fix this rubber seal

Worth the wait!

Worth the wait, The induction top works great! Gets pots and pans hot quick I would say it boils faster than gas without loosing heat and induction seems to respond quick to the dial. Easy to clean being a flat top is a big plus. The ovens are great and convection on the bottom is awesome, Love having two ovens in one. Seems to cook everything to perfection and takes no time at all to preheat. The GE app works nice love being able to control the ovens from my phone and is nice to see what's going on with the cook top. You can also go into the settings from the app and change factory settings of the stove. If you are I the market for a flattop induction I would definitely look into this beast! I hope it last and I never new cooking could be this fun. I have no affiliation with GE what so ever just happy I spent the money and purchased this appliance!

Cafe Range paint peeling off the base of the knobs

I have a GE Cafe self cleaning duel fuel convection range, the base of the knobs is peeling off, I can see now that the base is plastic with paint what am I suppose to do?
This was an expensive range, and I very disappointed to see this happening.

Poor construction

Have had this range since November 2017 and have had repairmen here 5 times......first time was immediately after delivery. The rubber gasket between cooktop and stainless buckles and is never flush. Impossible to keep clean with it not being flush. Also the stainless scratches very easily. Unacceptable this amount of money. Will not keep or purchase another GE Cafe

We’ve had it for 2 months. Love the induction cook top- so responsive to desired changes in temp! Also love the top oven.. easy to put pans in and out- great height for use! Bottom oven isn’t used as often (which was the idea) but I used the convection feature to bake 2 pans at the same time for a baby shower and it worked just fine.

We owned a GE Profile induction range at our last address and lived with a marginal gas range at our new address for a year, which was as long as we could stand it. This range is powerful and easily controllable, much faster than a gas range and adds no heat to a kitchen. Our only gripe: the oven doors must be closed by default to use the broil setting. That traps moisture and retards browning, so this range does not brown food under the broilers nearly as well as our old Profile, acting more like a steamer when high moisture foods like vegetables are placed under the broiler. The lawyers probably got in the way. Otherwise we love it.

We bought this range as part of our kitchen remodel. It performs even better than expected! Ilt heats up as quickly as a gas range, and the double ovens making holiday baking a breeze. Also, it looks beautiful in the kitchen!
