Please improve

TurboTax should use a different file name extension for personal vs. corporate returns.
This year, each extension was ".tax2017" - however, when double-clicking on my corporate TurboTax file the personal software launches.
So, please use an extension of ".tax2018" for personal returns next year, and use a different extension such as ".tax2018corp" next year!
What's not so great: Poor default program by TurboTax

not enought states and no mac

Would be a lot simpler to use if everything was stored on the cloud and you didn't have to download the software. Frustrating that mac's are not supported, as they are probably half the computers on the market these days. Also frustrating that you have to buy the pro version to file in certain states, but that still doesn't give you access to everything. You guys should be able to do better on all of these fronts. Thanks.
What's great about it: relativelty simple interface
What's not so great: can't use on a mac; all states don't allow efiling

Corp taxes made simpler

I have used Turbo Tax for business and personal for yeas and highly recommend it, especially for those, like me, who have a degree in business but am not an accountant.
What's great about it: Easy to follow steps and instructions
What's not so great: ocassional use of jargon but not bad

Very disappointed that QB online doesn't work

I cannot believe that Intuit cannot find a way to make QB online compatible with TT, so that QBO files could be imported directly into TT. If that benefit is no longer available, I will certainly consider using another tax preparation software next year. If I have to figure out all my own numbers, there is no advantage to using TT.
What's great about it: TT works very well with desktop version of QB.
What's not so great: You cannot import QB online into TT.

Problems with import from Quickbooks

Turbotax was not as intuitive to use when bringing Quickbooks financial data in. None of my income statement and very little of my balance sheet was transferred correctly resulting in hours of reconciling and manual entry. But now that I have done it, it seems I will have to endure the process again next year unless I can find another tax prep software that integrates more smoothly. I also found an error in calculation for the Meals and Entertainment deduction where it did not input the 50% limitation correctly. Thankfully I knew what to look for and caught the error. It was definitely a calculation error so I wonder what else could be wrong. My confidence in the software is fairly low at this point.
What's great about it: Praying that Turbotax captured everything
What's not so great: Major errors in transferring data from Quickbooks Accountant Version

Very user friendly, except..

I always seem to have issues with TurboTax and payment. Two years in a row I ended up getting double-billed and will have to reach out for a refund
