Hard to trransmitt

I have pre printed forms, but no way to attach to files.
What's great about it: Checks for problems
What's not so great: Fed info transfered to state from caused sending problem

Quick and Easy

Wasted printing documents and saving info to file folders twice. Have to hand correct tax documents info, that was input correctly. Overrides are not available to repair. What a shame!
What's great about it: Quality Product
What's not so great: Reviewed documents, and info was incorrect with C-Corp doing S-Corp

Efile Extension should be in Software

Turbo Tax Business is getting easier to use each year for the Federal Returns. This year has been improved with a phone app to allow for electronic filing of extension, but it would be a lot easier to efile via the TurboTax Business software.
What's great about it: Easier than last year
What's not so great: Efile extension not as easy as it could be

Fast, Intuitive and Thorough

Used for rental property business with 10 rental properties, all with maintenance, repair, investment considerations. Have used for 5 years now and very pleased with thoroughness and ease. Very easy to include details about individual expenses, investments and repairs for each property and provides excellent description of examples and options as you complete the return.
Do Georgia State return and K-1s with the software also.
What's great about it: details, speed, ease
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Business save me from issues with my taxes and allowed me to amend 1120s and k1 from prior year... Great Job Turbo Tax been using you for 5 years.

Preparing the State and City income tax forms for me is a big plus.
What's great about it: Cost of software is relatively inexpensive.
What's not so great: I had trouble down loading state software. I bought the federal software on line.

User Friendly for Business!

We have used an accountant to complete Form 1065 for our LLC in the past 2 years. However, this year we used TurboTax. The completion went smoothly. Thanks!
What's great about it: Stepwise guidance through return
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This year, Turbo Tax was very difficult to use. My file failed to save several times and TT shut down. The file was recovered each time, but opened in places I had already completed and wouldn't let me move forward without redoing the steps. My upload from QB was full of errors. My chart of accounts tax designations are accurate but TT placed some line items into my return multiple times. Took many hours to audit and correct the mistakes. Intuit has had a significant degradation of performance and quality in it's products the past few years. Not as reliable any more.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax gets me through the tough parts and tax law
What's not so great: Too many mistakes made by TT
