Still need Mac Support

The simplicity is as expected, but I had to buy an additional computer to do the biz taxes for this year. Would love to see Mac support.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: No Mac
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I found the software much easier to use than I expected. I had a few questions, but the help popups answered the questions that I had. Nice job and thanks!

Not Good

I have used Turbo Tax Personal for over a decade and love it, this was a horrible experience
What's not so great: Watch or you will miss it, can't file state taxes electronically but lets you skip right by and and says congrats

Huge time saver

Helped me do the taxes for my small business in less than 5 hours; should be even faster next year as I'm still learning how to use QuickBooks. I wish QuickBooks was as easy to use as TurboTax was.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walked me through complicated process, and saved time

It works, but...

There's serious limitations with the TurboTax for Business Download:
- Only works on Windows
- Only supports import from QuickBooks Desktop... QuickBooks Online isn't compatible at all
- Even with the software helping, you've got a mountain of work to do... without a good bookkeeper (or accountant), it's near impossible for any sizable (even small) business to use this software

Missing Mailing Instruction

Filing an amended return and notified up front that the return must be mailed. At the end the instructions were for e-file and no mailing instructions (address) were given. That should be an easy fix.

Fairly solid software

Fairly solid Tax software. I am a retired CPA so I have used several tax preparation software products and for the price it is a fairly good buy. It does not bring forward everything from last years return that you need to Efile.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use. Efile included in product
What's not so great: Does not bring forward everything you need from last year. If you revise a number you must answer all the questions

State efile - would NOT work!

I've been using TT for years. But this year TT Business disappointed when it mattered the most - efiling time. My federal efile went through, but state never did! It kept sending me in a never ending loop to update the software - which was already up to date. HAD TO PAPER FILE by mail instead - very inconvenient.
What's great about it: Copied info from previous year returns. Fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: When it came time file my Massachusetts, program would NOT efile.
