Helped my friends out of a jam!

I am a retired CPA and am used to much more sophisticated tax programs. However I am able to use this Turbo Tax program to help out some friends once in awhile. It is easy for me to use and easy on the pocket book. The depreciation detail is good also.
What's great about it: It's a good economical program for business
What's not so great: The preparer still must know tax law and the desired result.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Generally good, some frustrations

In general I like TurboTax and it helps me enormously when completing my business tax each year.
However I find it very frustrating when there are small errors but it's not clear how to fix them - a little direction as to how the error can be rectified would go a long way.
What's great about it: Walks me through my tax return with explanation
What's not so great: Fixing errors and searching within the product is hard

Quick and Easy

I've used TurboTax for years now and obviously am very pleased. I can download anything I need and the process is typically fairly easy. Even as a CPA I find input errors where detail was entered into the wrong calculation worksheet but in reviewing the return the item ends up on a different line than it should. Sometimes to go back and correct it the drill down is awkward or difficult to follow and correct. Override works but makes me uneasy that I have not caught all the additional areas the override might impact.
What's great about it: Very fast download so convenient day or night!
What's not so great: Sometimes it is hard to drill down to correct obvious input errors.

Wrong Retained Earnings - Turbotax Business

I followed support's instructions for changing the previous year Retained Earnings, but they didn't work. I was forced to file with an incorrect balance sheet.
I was filing for a Sub-chapter S Corp using Turbotax Business.
What's great about it: Entering from P&L was easy
What's not so great: I could not correct previous year Retained Earnings, so balance sheet was VERY wrong.

Turbo Tax for Business

Overall, great tax software. In the review and file section, if you go back it sends you to the beginning of that section!
What's great about it: Ability to import data. It saves a lot of time
What's not so great: There is fix need for the General Business Credit Worksheet, credit carryback/carryforward section.
