terrible project

Product is terrible and not user friendly as in prior years.
I lost my state file twice as the program does not automatically save state filing!!
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: not user friendly and very poor help function

Super Easy

Having a small business and not a lot of intricate parts, using TurboTax was the easiest and cheapest way for me to complete my business taxes. I have zero concerns I missed any important points in my taxes and have 100% confidence in them. Easily saved $500 vs. using an in-person tax preparer.
What's great about it: Fast and complete
What's not so great: none
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments

turbo tax business

I have QB on my iMac and since TT Business is not compatible with iMac, I have to enter all the info into TT manually! PLEASE MAKE TURBO TAX BUSINESS FOR IMAC

I really like being able to import my financial brokerage investment information using Turbo Tax. However, when doing taxes for my mother's estate trust using Turbo Tax Business this year, that is not possible which was very frustrating.

If you keep your bookeeping up to date by your self and know the basic of taxes is a piece of cake doing your taxes with turbotax!
What's great about it: easy, quick just as needed

Contributed Capital

Spent way too much time figuring out to add the contributed capital. Finally after trying multiple times, had to use the override function to enter into the partner's k-1 info. This needs to be fixed!!!!!!!!!

Start-up business and taxes

Given the complexity of filing federal and state returns for a start up partnership that has not yet generated income, Turbo Tax helped us build a solid foundation at much less cost that having a CPA do our returns.
What's great about it: Despite the complexity, Turbo Tax was a great help.
What's not so great: None that I can think of!
