Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

This program made it very simple to complete what seems like an overwhelming task. Easy to follow instructions and step-by-step directions made all the difference.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions, user friendly
What's not so great: Correcting the balance sheet btwn book and tax was a bit confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The quality of your program keeps dropping. Each year you have less ease of use. I have to go into forms to enter my schedule C info for the trust. You should be providing more help each year not less. No running total of taxes owed. Not good. I had to go to forms to see how much taxes were due. I don't want to use your online version.
I keep my business info in office, not where someone can hack it. Please add back in schedule C to the walk through.

What's great about it: keeps info from previous year
What's not so great: no longer provides all the steps that were in previous versions, nor keeps running total of taxes owed.

Turbo Tax made this a much easier process than if I had to do it on my own. I appreciate that it explained most of everything that I needed to fill out and where to find the information from our past tax returns.
What's great about it: Walked me through the steps
What's not so great: Some was still confusing, but it's taxes, what can you expect.

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR YEARS AND WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE TURBO TAX FOR BUSINESS DOES NOT HAVE A MAC VERSION.

Intuit should refund the money I paid them

Using this to file returns for a partnership. There isn't a simple formula to allocate amounts to each partner, so I have to override many of the numbers on forms.
Before e-filing TurboTax took me through each overriden number and asked me confirm if that was correct. When this process was completed it did it again, and again and again and again, in an infinite loop. It never flagged any reconciliation or other errors in the forms.
I ended up having to print and mail the forms. This software is stuck in the 90s and I've been using it since the 90s both for my personal and business returns in spite of not really being totally happy with it. But this time I had it.
Next year I'm looking for alternatives.
What's great about it: Don't have to pay someone else to do my taxes
What's not so great: Too many to list here
