A few sites could be "dumbed down" a little for those of us who are not CPAs.

This product is outstanding - first time ever I file an LLC return, and... it is as easy as it gets.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything, the support (Q&A) is excellent... you actually learn about taxes!
What's not so great: None to speak off, this product is extremely well thought out and executed

Decent for interest/dividends
on March 11, 2018

I spent way more time than necessary to figure out how to access the Schedule D forms on Turbo Business. This should have been a standard menu interface as the interest and dividends and NOT from the forms menu at the top menu bar. Very non-intuitive.
What's not so great: terrible if you have long term gain/loss

Why didn't I use TurboTax before now?
on March 11, 2018

I've always been intimidated by the corporate tax return so I've always used a professional. This is my first attempt at doing them myself. I feel accomplished and I saved a lot of money this way. Importing from Quickbooks took the guess work out of which numbers to use. Federal return was easier than the State. It had more explanation to help you understand what info it was requesting. State didn't have enough. I will use TurboTax from now on.
What's great about it: Quick and simple. And I saved a lot of money doing it myself. I really like ability to import from Quickbooks.
What's not so great: Need more back buttons and explanations on the state return.

It would be helpful to have more explanations of the balance sheet. For instance, what exactly to keep as records so that it may be accurately done.
What's great about it: Fairly easy
What's not so great: Balance sheet!

Work in progress

Missing items necessary to file return, Specifically there is no way to complete the 1099-div information. Turbo Tax only address a couple of the many boxes and gives no guidance on where to put the items in most of the other boxes. -- No download (import) is available for brokerage statements.
What's great about it: semi complete program
What's not so great: too many holes and missing items - no import
