S corporation tax package

Having retired as a CPA, I needed a source of tax preparation software this year. I gave TurboTax a try, but found the questions condescending, the input difficult to use, had difficulty finding a way to correct input errors I had made and then was unable to file electronically because TurboTax was going to force me to file an incorrect return. I would have been better off just downloading forms from the IRS website. I will not use this product again.
What's great about it: Not much
What's not so great: Unable to electronically file due to forced errors. Too expensive for the value of the product.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My tenth year

This is my tenth year to use Turbo Tax.
I find it extremely easy, the guide is helpful. I will continue to use it.

I have to file a Texas state return. I have never gotten TurboTax to actually file the state return electronically. I think the state and TT do not actually work on error checking.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Great help
What's not so great: Still very expensive. State return difficult

Great business tax software, too!

Last year I strayed from the fold and used the other guy's software -- and was again reminded of why I always come back to TurboTax. It's great to be back.
What's great about it: Simple format, asked all the right questions
What's not so great: Couldn't import last year's H&R Block Business 2016 data

Taxes done right!

I am absolutely happy to use TurboTax for filing my taxes. I feel confident and have lots of trust that my taxes are done right!
What's great about it: Confident, and Trust in software!

I recommend TurboTax business to anyone looking for a quick and easy solution for your small business taxes.

Needs a few features

I have a trust that has a lot of stock transactions. I use the personal version of TurbTax on a Mac to download stock info then print it and hand enter it into the Business version on a PC.
What's great about it: Does 95%
What's not so great: Does not download stock sales
Pros: I bought or sold investments
