Must buy State Separately - unlike other products. The Business product only does FED tax return. Its qurkey when filing. It request info it already have.

Using TurboTax and short commings

Most basic things are covered and explained in easy terms and easy to follow up. However, the product need some improvement in following areas.
1. The review process is some how very difficult to go over as it does give some false alarms and not pointing to the issue.
2. The worst thing is when ready to transmit return after review is completed hoping you are a simple click away and it goes for more checks giving you completely false sense that your review is completed.
3. Need to know lot of credits and form to be used. It should provide some better guidelines for credits.
4. There are other areas where things need to be improved, such as K-1 should have a beginning and end date either mandatory by user provided or from tax return period.
I am happy to go over with limited time for next development cycle which will help lot of customers.

What's not so great: State information is not carried over from last year, Review is very difficult to understand. Mutiple reviews

First Trust tax return

If you know what you are doing, filling out this tax reform is not that bad. But if you aren't familiar with terms and what is needed, filling this out gets pretty stressful. I think there needs to be more instructions and explanations. Trusts aren't easy to understand.
What's great about it: Not as confusing as I feared.
What's not so great: Confusing enough for me to get stresse out.
