TurboTax Business is fairly easy to use except for the Balance Sheet section (for QuickBooks users) due to differences in how QuickBooks calculates retained earnings. If you follow TT's instructions for calculating retained earnings your balance sheet will not be in balance.
Also the state section, at least for NC, needs to be improved. Some screens ask questions with no help on how to respond to the questions.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate through program

Quite Improved

Pro: The federal entries seem much smoother than prior years. The program seems more flexible for entries.
Con: For the New York state program I could not figure out a way to allocate income and deductions to in state sources versus out of state sources. The step by step was either all in or all out. So I had to override lines to allocate.

What's great about it: Federal is much better than previous years.

never could have finished my returns faster

lightning fast trust 1065 1120s returns no problem

Estate/Trust 1041 Application

Good product consistent with other TurboTax offerings. Would be extremely helpful if it would import financial data from brokerage houses, etc like the 1040 products do.
What's great about it: Fairly straightforward and simple to use.
What's not so great: Will not import financial data

You did a much better job this year with Foreign taxes paid. I have been making suggestions for years. My only suggestion for improvement at this point is that the interview include ALL the data that will be necessary to complete Form 1116 when foreign taxes paid come from multiple sources ( Brokerage firms,1065 etc. )
It would be helpful if I could print any screen throughout the interview process.
I had to go to the individual partner accounts to record " distributions ". It would be helpful if this were part of the interview.
Some "supplemental" schedules did not carry forward descriptions from the prior year. I had to re enter the source.
Once I check a box during the interview, I should not have to check it again when I go back to review my entries. This is for Turbo Business. The same suggestions apply to Home and Business. Thanks for a great product.

Tax Filing Made Easy!

This is my second year using Turbo Tax for Business! I find this product easy to use and with a wealth of guidance for taking on this important task!
What's great about it: Very easy to Use!

Works Great

The labor add-in could have been the way I had it entered in Quick Books but besides that there was no problems. I have used this program all the years we have been in business and I do taxes for two different companies
What's great about it: Easy to transfer from QuickBooks
What's not so great: One spot it added the labor cost in 2 times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
