Easy to use but crashed frequently

What's great about it: The software was easy to use and asked me pretty simple questions.
What's not so great: The software crashed very frequently when trying to file at the end. It wasn't fixed until march 1st.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Font size and color

The old saying is that form should follow function. I assume that the function/purpose of your product is to engage in an exchange of communication with your clients. Why then would you use font sizes that are smaller than necessary. You have plenty of space on every page, but you choose to make the font so small that it is difficult to read, even for people like me with 20/20 reading vision. Worse, instead of using black type, you chose to use a medium gray that is harder to read. The color of the type on this survey is an example. This is not an art exhibit. Your program creators are violating the form should follow function axiom. I am not going to strain my eyes and be forced to enlarge every page on my computer in order to read your program. I have been with TurboTax since the beginning. But no longer.
What's not so great: Small fonts and light gray type are hard to read.

Nice fast and reliable

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Each year it gets better and has improved features. Love the enhancements but would like to have another set of windows open to flip back and forth for forms versus automated process
What's great about it: The final review is wonderful
What's not so great: a lot of buttons to click, but its taxes

The only thing that would have made this software better is if they had montana state taxes. it looked like just about every state was there just not montana
What's great about it: fast and simple
What's not so great: dosent have montana state taxes

Difficult

This is my first use of Turbotax for business. It is not easy to use and getting real help is difficult. It just would not calculate depreciation correctly for my situation. I did talk to the TT tax expert and he acknowledged that the software was flawed and offered a work-around which includes having to explain to the IRS the work-around. There are also a lot of areas that it is unclear what they are asking for and you really need to spend time reading and studying the IRS rules. The help and notes are written for Tax experts, not novice business owners. Also, I don't know why it would not file my state return (CO) electronically since my CPA filed it electronically last year. On printing my State return, it includes two blank copies of the forms along with the filled in forms. Why?
What's great about it: Has most of the forms
What's not so great: Not easy to use, and has errors
Pros: I bought or sold investments

If you can furnish information to an accountant to do your taxes, you can do it yourself on turbo tax.
Only problem is in printing forms. Printing form 8453-C is easy, so why so hard to print the rest?
I have been using Turbo tax for at least the last 5 years. Wouldn't think of doing my taxes any other way.

What's great about it: Turbo tax remembered my past returns and gave great suggestions to help me this year.
What's not so great: I wish printing my forms wasn't so hard. A few years ago it took a few hours to figure out I had to open files in Adobe

Useless

The filing experience was terrible. It's taken all day to file a simple return. TurboTax would not link with QuickBooks Pro 2017, so I had to enter everything manually and it wouldn't e-file, so I had to print and mail. Support service is useless and not at all helpful.
What's great about it: None

Everything in Turbo Tax needs to work ALL the time, this year not so much. You should be prepared to compensate users for this egregious situation.
