Turbotax for business needs work

I started entering data on 02/20/18 and a message popped up that a Federal form was missing and they would have it by 02/23/18. Gave them my email for a notice and never received one. On 02/28/18 I went to open my almost completed return and when I clicked of the file, it opened premier instead of business. When I opened business it put me at the "let's gather information" screen instead of the final review screen! Same issue of having to manually scroll down to the next entry on a page full of entry items. Please make TurboTax touch-screen capable.
What's great about it: Excellent phone support. Transfers data from prior year's return. Easy to complete.
What's not so great: Missing a Federal form. Can't distinguish between Turbotax for business and Premier.

Business Version not so good

Business version of TT should have the 1099 import functionality of the Personal Premium version of TT.
What's great about it: Interface previous years info.
What's not so great: 1099 Import Not Available

K-1 Overrides!

I had ACTIVE rental property losses on the Schedule E of the estate return, but the K-1s were showing the loss amount as a passive loss. This is a bug. This is incorrect. The k-1 was essentially blank so I had to override the amounts so that the k-1 recipient could write off the loss amount on their personal tax return.
What's great about it: It worked well for the most part
What's not so great: The k-1 was incorrect

Great Program

So easy to use and was able to get answers to all my questions answered.
One glitch I could not get to stop. It said I indicated income from real estate when I did not and kept asking me to put something in for it. I was able to ignore it and complete my tax return.
What's great about it: Easy to use, complete

Fairly easy to use

I (an IT guy, not an accountant) was able to figure out how to file it with a little help from google. It would be nice if it asked about unrealized gains rather than having to go to the forms view and enter it manually.
What's great about it: Interface is easy to navigate. Walks you through most common questions
What's not so great: Had a hard time figuring out something as common as unrealized gains
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Business Missteps

TurboTax tried to file 1099s before information was entered. Very difficult to get back to external 1099 link once information was entered.
TurboTax repeatedly asked for Real Estate information when none was required.
Difficult to go from forms back to appropriate location in Step-by-Step mode.
No clear way to figure out how to fix missing, wrong, or missed information.
Would have been much faster to fill forms by hand.
What's great about it: Everything for tax reporting is present
What's not so great: Difficult to navigate and fix errors

Easy filing and issues resolved

TurboTax for a LLC makes my job easier. It brings in last years information and the step by step instructions make this big process easy. Even though I had issues this year with saving and printing, the issues were resolved within a timely manner. I will be back.
