One step forward, two back...

Had to wind down a partnership. After indicating that the partner was relinquishing their stake the software kept asking me to go back to topic items that didn't exist. Also could not get it to print out the filing address (can't file electronically) no matter how I configured the return to print.
What's great about it: Great to be able to import lat year's return
What's not so great: Still confusing, missing simple stuff.

This is my second year using Turbo Tax Business for my Partnership LLC. I have done my own personal taxes for years, but never a business. Lots of new tax lingo, and I was very nervous last year, but it really spells it out in more common terms for you so you dont have to be an accountant to understand everything! Saves lots of money too.
What's great about it: Super straight forward, easy to use, spells it out for non-accountants
What's not so great: High Price

Slow with incorporating state corporate forms

What's great about it: Able to purchase well in advance of due dates

Easy Button!

Filing taxes is always a little stressful, but I like doing it with TurboTax because it walks me through so I don't miss something. Makes me feel more confident that the numbers correct and that the correct paperwork is being filed.
What's great about it: Simple and easy to understand
What's not so great: Windows only for corp taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Definitions of new or changed rules, forms, and requirements are not as in-depth as in the past. Referring users to IRS definitions is NOT a help. We count on your ability to break down the rules for the non-professional users.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step is always helpful
What's not so great: Definitions need work.

Creat entry for OID interest

I did not like using the 1099-INT form to enter 1099_OID information . Without the help information search, I would never have been able to complete return.
What's great about it: Straight forward entry of requested information provides completed return
What's not so great: No place to enter 1099 OID interest
Pros: I bought or sold investments
