TurboTax Business Needs to Catchup

Only PC Compatible. That's garbage. I had to borrow my friends PC to do TurboTax Business. How come the TurboTax Business is the only program that does not offer a Online Version or a Mac Download version?
What's great about it: Nice user friendly Dashboard.
What's not so great: Not available as Online Version or Mac Download.

Taxes are easy. TurboTax is not.

I have used a CPA for a few years now for my s-corp and personal taxes. I decided this year to use TurboTax and go it alone. With last year's takes as a model, the numbers were quite easy. However, unlocking the ability to access various fields without a decoder ring or Gandolf's staff took many hours and a lot of patience. In addition, the inability to have two versions of TurboTax (business and personal) on one machine is inconvenient. Better yet, why not have a Corp plus Personal version? People who own corporations also have to file personal taxes! I expect next year to take just a few hours with the auto transfer, but getting this year's health care, retained earnings, and distribution numbers (among others) to match up was a lot of clicking and guessing. The help menu was alternately useless or inaccurate.
What's great about it: Next year will be easier
What's not so great: Too many inaccessible fields, Help is useless

State was not submitted

Filed electronically and thankfully I looped back around a few times because turbotax DID NOT FILE THE STATE RETURN and DID NOT LET ME KNOW. Only when I looped back around and tried to file the state again did I find a place that said CO can't be filed electronically. Still can't figure out how to file by mail in here so I'm going to manually do it.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to enter data and file Federal
What's not so great: State tax return not submitted

What's not so great: Not always responsive, form 8903 has been updated on IRS site but TT says wont be available until 3/22 (after due date)

Many Errors

Business 2017 - probably they are still working on bugs. No less than 3 problem areas/errors in doing a simple 1065. Wound up just overriding their "mistakes." Might be time to try another vendor after 15+ years with Intuit -

The one thing that really bothers me is that I can't go back through all my choices and check them. On most choices that is replied by choosing a 'Yes' or 'No' you must re-select every time you are back on that form. Why can't it keep your selection? I feel most comfortable when I can review all my choices as well as my input of numbers.

Use TurboTax every year. Makes it so easy to prepare returns, especially with the Upload QuickBooks file option.

buggy software incompetent support

took me about an hour to connect with a live support. I did two sessions each one lasted more than 2 hours since the support had no idea what they are doing. I will not use Turbotax next year. I won't recommend it to any one.
