TurboTax Business User for 5 Years

I do not recall having entered the quarterly 941 data in the past. Not especially difficult if the info is readily available, but it does not seem necessary to me.
What's great about it: Preliminary effort minimal
What's not so great: Entry of Quarterly 941 data

Less forms provided than last year

Very disappointing that I finished and the program did not offer to print W-2, or the related, required forms.
What's great about it: easy to us
What's not so great: No longer provided W-2's, etc.

Getting my taxes done before superbowl

Overall, i always have a positive experience and your tech folks are always helpful! Thanks for another great experience doing my taxes for 2017 in 2018!
What's great about it: Works great by tying into my quickbooks!
What's not so great: I actually have to read the instructions sometimes?

I have used Turbo Tax for my business and personal taxes for several years, wouldn't do it any other way!
What's great about it: easy to walk through and understand what i need
What's not so great: none
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Business Tax Freeze

The program on my Windows 10 new computer kept freezing while I was working on the taxes. Especially if I tried to look at the forms section. I had to continually go to Task Manager and end the program and then restart.

Good, All Things Considered

I have been a TurboTax user for many years. I am a CPA and old enough to have prepared tax return before TurboTax was created. Every year it improves. This year was a particular challenge with tax reform so it seems like there are more incomplete capabilities than usual.
What's great about it: Once using TurboTax for first year, subsequent years are easy
What's not so great: Sometimes have to scout to find source of some of the entries

Easy filing, but some issues in error checking

Program was trying to file CA state forms for employees when my business has none. Spent way too much time figuring out how to delete these forms and get past the associated error checking. Did not have this problem last year.
What's great about it: Fast efile
What's not so great: Tries to use forms that don't apply

The biggest issue I had was several blocks were already checked in which I couldn't uncheck the block. I had to actually start completely over in order to access the blocks that wouldn't uncheck. Next, some imported data from my QuickBooks wasn't needed, however, it was difficult to remove the entries inside Turbo Tax. I actually had to go into my QuickBooks to remove the data and re-import the updated data to Turbo Tax . This years Turbo Tax seemed more bothersome than previous years.
What's great about it: Step-by-step ease of completion
What's not so great: Not easy to navigate questions and answers
