employer verification code W2 box 9

since my employer had not been given a verification code for W2 box9, turbo tax dinged that as an error and would not let me "E-file" even though the IRS accepts the W2 with mail in filing.
What's not so great: could not file "e-file"

1099-MISC

As a retiree, I receive an annual, one-time partial reimbursement from my former employer for LTC insurance premiums. I own no business but TurboTax forces the income, reported by my former employer on a 1099-MISC, to be treated as business income. A complicated Schedule C has to be completed. Is this really necessary.
What's not so great: Treats all 1099-MISC as business income

I have used Turbotax for about 15 years and it is extremely easy to use. I highly recommend it!

I have been using TurboTax for years. Love the product. Had trouble downloading CD due to change to Windows 10, however I figured it out and did not call

Millenial's First Time

Read an article that Millenials are the most stressed about filing taxes this year, and it's so true! I was very nervous, but TurboTax was so easy and straightforward. Took all of the frustration and confusion out of filing. Thanks, TurboTax!

2017 Software

The program has absolutely awful, next to impossible to read font color. Who dreamed up using a light blue? It does not show up well at all.
There are simply too many reviews, checks and double checks. I get being thorough and needing to be error free, but it seemed like I would never get to the end without yet another review. And this after no further changes had been made.
What's great about it: Program is very thorough

I use TurboTax to file my federal taxes every year and it has consistently help to input all required data. It does a thorough job at easing tax filing for me. I will continue to use TurboTax in the future and highly recommend it.
