The same plastic quality as original container. Recommended amount at one time is 1 cup for 1 minute at highest speed. Does great job turning anything into powder. There is nothing better than the smell of freshly milled warm flour.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power
just purchased a Vitamix A3500 and got the Dry Grains container with the specific purpose of being able to use my blender to make pizza dough and fresh pasta. Now I see that there's a recipe in the Vitamix website (https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/Recipes/Pizza) that shows the option to use the 64 oz container that comes with the blender. I felt that I had to purchase an extra accessory to be able to use the blender for certain tasks and that was not necessarily true. Had there been full disclosure on the product's description, I would've chosen the 48 oz wet blade instead (which I wanted, but was not able to afford due to purchasing other accessories).
I’ve been using Vitamix machines for the last 30 years. I Purchased the tri-greens container about a month ago and could not be happier. I am able to make rice almond and old flour and grind wheat berries for wheat flour. this is an excellent addition to my vita mix family.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
This is an awesome product if you want to bake with freshly ground flour. It is capable of grinding wheat, corn with no problem at all. I use this very often and so far haven't had any problem. The best part, there is no minimum requirement.
Pros: Durability, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Power
I purchased the Grains Container to make my own spices and powders. Absolutely love it. I’ll never buy store bought spices again as the quality level is not even close to comparable.
