Oven would be great except for the fact that when you use broi top of stove get dangerously hot, you can’t touch it, that’s how hot it gets.

I use the oven today for the very first time. This kitchen range lacks insulation! The stove top was too hot to lay my hand on. No burners were on and the oven was only set for 350 degrees. We paid good money, cash, for this appliance and it is so cheaply made. It replaced a GE stove we bought 8 years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

have tried to regulate the oven temperature multiple times to no avail...went by the instructions provided but the oven continues to overheat or under heat...don't know who to call about this but it would be great to be able to use the oven without ruining the food

This black top stove gets extremely hot on top when the oven is on 350 degrees. Plus the "stainless steel" is very thin. Purchased a white GE stove in 2004 for another house and it is well made and doesn't get hot. Wish I had my old stove back.

I bought this range and boy was that a mistake! Temperature range is 60 degrees. All the "appliance" experts say this is normal. While baking, I use the range top as a working surface. It's hot to the touch - too hot to use while loading a baking sheet.
