Bought to use in super cold office. Felt like i had won #sweepstakes. It quiet an heated up the area quick. I was surprised because it is a small unit. Had to have one that met fire marshal regulations for our area & this did!
Pros: Adjustable, Good Power Output, Stable Base

This little heater sits beneath my office desk. Provides a steady stream of warm air all day, keeping me comfortable in my chilly office - on the low setting. Quite a bit of heat on the high setting. I appreciate the “tip over” sensor since the unit is near my feet.

Returning Unfortunately...

Love the metal construction, the metal knob has great feel of durability to it. The fan blows very weak. On the higher setting it's almost like the fan is too slow to move the heat from the unit. No fan only mode either, which is entirely on me to have not noted prior to purchasing, but using as only a heater makes it very cumbersome. Don't want a second unit for when I need a fan.

Helping me get through COVID comfortably!

I bought this unit when I was starting a new job in a chilly office. A month later, and I was working from my drafty New England home because of COVID-19. This heater is keeping me so comfortable during this time, and it's also so quiet that when I'm on conference calls, it doesn't add distraction. It's visually pleasing, and adds to the modern look of my workspace. I'm really happy with it, and I know it's not my last purchase from this company!

Quality Control by the Buyer

I purchased a VMH10 heater in March 2021, and mine still exhibits the same premature shutdown problem that was previously cited by previous buyers, so it's apparent that Vornado expects their customers to handle quality control issues. In addition, my unit uses a (deficient) 16 gauge SPT-3 type power cord instead of a proper 14 gauge SJT type power cord—a potential safety hazard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The overheat sensor was defective (it triggers off prematurely) and the wire gauge that's used for the power line (AWG 16) is insufficient for a 750 Watt appliance (should be AWG 14). I scrapped it.

Will not maintain heat for long enough to warm the room

Somehow does not work. I have 5 really great Vornado heaters....this one just doesn't keep up the heat beyond about 5 minutes.
