Great little heater with 1 major flaw

I have two of these, and I love the design, safety, noise level (very quiet), power.
The problem is that their overheating safety thermostat -- while a good feature -- is set to trip at a level that's way too low -- just in normal operation. And then it takes a long, long time for it to cool down to where it deigns to run again; there's no reset button. If it were just the one unit, I'd say I got a lemon; but, as I say, I have two and they're both defective.
I keep hoping they'll update the model and incorporate a thermal fuse that's not so touchy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect small heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small heater packs a lot of punch! It is lightweight and compact, with a stylish, minimalist design. It would be perfect for a cold office or cubicle and begins to heat immediately. There are only two settings, but how many does one need?! The high setting heats a good portion of my large bedroom. It remains cool to the touch on back and sides, and although hot on front, would not burn with a quick accidental touch. It would be easy to pack for a trip, with a compact cube design. The muted grey color would blend seamlessly into any decor. This is a perfect personal space heater for the upcoming cold winter months!
Pros: Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base

Stopped working

This heater doesn't heat nearly as well as the 202 model, and now it has stopped working altogether. Also the color, "white" or "black" is irrelevant because the outer shell is silver on both and the cord is black on both.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am returning this heater. After 45 minutes of heat it turns off because of overheating. It. Does not come back on for over 2 hours.

Vornado spaceheater - warmth without the worry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado personal space heater is perfect for a corner of a chilly room. I have a room in my house that gets a lot of wind (from both sides, it's the corner of the house and not well insulated.) I keep my computer in this room and having the personal space heater on a ledge nearby warmed up the corner considerably in 10 minutes without even a low buzzing noise. It has a very sturdy base which seems like it would take a good knock to tip over (one of my biggest fears.) The fan gives a good two feet width or berth of heat with it extending about 10 feet.
Pros: Compact, Good Power Output, Quiet, Stable Base
Cons: Lacks Adjustability

Great little space heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a number of space heaters in the past but have never had a metal heater. I really like this unit for several reasons: - It is small so doesn't take up much space and there's less likelihood someone will trip over it - It looks nice - The exterior does not heat up even after several hours of use - It produces exactly the right amount of heat for my purposes. I use it to heat up our study when I work and it makes me feel very comfortable. Yet, my husband (whose desk is right next to mine) has not complained of getting too hot. So it's perfect for both of us. - It has a spring-loaded security feature on the bottom so I can literally see and feel assured that it would indeed turn off if it ever tipped over. However, given the size of the unit it isn't likely it will tip over. - It is very quiet. It is the quietest space heater I have ever had. Would be perfect for a bedroom. As far as I am concerned, there are no negatives. The controls are very simple: Just a knob that you turn to switch it on. The sequence is Off - High - Low, so you have to go through the high setting to get to low. There is also a button for a four-hour timer which I have never used. Maybe for some people this doesn't give them all the options they want but for me they are not an issue. Please note that I received this heater unit for free in exchange for an honest review.
Pros: Durable, Good Power Output, Heats Up Quickly, Lightweight

Very nice quiet personal heater

Great little heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a GREAT little personal heater. It is small in size so doesn't take up much space but being compact in design doesn't mean it doesn't work well. It has a sturdy base and auto-shut off, two huge pros. I used this personal heater by my feet as they are always cold and kept them toasty warm. I have tried a couple different heaters in the past but were too bulky and simply didn't heat well. With this heater it gives you adjustable settings which is another pro. I really have no cons to report with this product and highly recommend it for anyone needing extra warmth by them in the colder months. While I did receive this personal heater free in exchange for my review, it in no way shape or form influences my review and all opinions are my own.
