Failed out of the box

Plugged in unit and filled per the instructions provided. Ensured that tank light is solid so no low-water indication, set for continuous operation and nothing happens. Fan refuses to start regardless of the settings provided. The unit appears nicely built and the design is fine, although being able to fill the tank from the top rather than the bottom would be a nice improvement.

Great Machine

I went through many humidifiers until I found this one. This unit has been well thought out for the consumer! Most humidifiers are SO challenging to get/keep clean and I've thrown some expensive ones out just because I hated cleaning them!! Not this one. This is the easiest unit to tear down, clean/disinfect and put back together. It's so quiet and puts out plenty of humidity. I like to keep my set on energy and then set the humidity % a tad higher to compensate. I have 2 of these and have had them for several years now. I've never had another humidifier last as long as these and when it's time to buy new, I will come back to Vornado!

Bought the EVDC300 a few weeks ago. Very quiet and what I love the most is there has been no white dust.

Disappointed also

Purchased two weeks ago. Was going to give it 5 stars. However yesterday I filled the tank up, turned it over and went to pick it up and the handle started to separate from the tank. It did not come all the way off but..I contacted VORNADO and they said they would send a replacement tank out to me. I also feel that they could have the tank fill from the top.

Leaks

I bought this product Nov 2021 to use during the winter months due to dry air from heating system. i keep it on my night stand by my bed. it worked great last winter. this winter i noticed it leaking a bit, then it stopped after cleaning. the other night it not only leaked out a lot of water, it caused my phone charger to smoke. it almost started a fire! after looking at reviews i have seem many people have this issue. i can not believe this is already junk!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Constantly turns itself off - almost unusable

I bought this to keep my musical instruments at a healthy humidity. 40-50% humidity.
I've owned many humidifiers (from Honeywell, Levoit, etc) for this same purpose. This is the worst one. A huge disappointment, as I liked Vornado fans quite a bit.

I'd be happy with this product if it didn't turn itself off literally every day. It's done this from the beginning. So every day I have to go in and manually turn it on again. So instead of a convenience, I got a device I have to constantly babysit. Thanks Vornado.

Excellent Humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this humidifier to keep our main level comfortable. It's approximately 1300 Sq ft and this humidifier has helped immensely. It's much quieter and more efficient than our previous humidifier. We noticed a significant change in the humidity once we started using this. We would highly recommend it!
Pros: Adjustable, Compact, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Quiet, Stable Base

Quiet and Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this humidifier is how easy it is to use. We used it in our bedroom (about 300-350 sq ft) and when we had guests stay in it, they were able to easily figure it out without our assistance as well. The humidifier runs really quietly, which I appreciated because I am a light sleeper. This one didn't disrupt me. You can program this to shut off when it reaches to a certain humidity level, which is really convenient. It only adjusts to a certain percentage and while it worked for me, I'm not sure about others if they would want it higher. I would definitely recommend this to others for smaller spaces.

Cons: Lacks Adjustability
